Leslie and Dick Overby are in China for the next couple of weeks getting their new daughter, Addie. What an exciting time for the whole family. Our church is very excited about Addie’s arrival also. Leslie has worked at FBC for around 10 years. She works alongside Pat and me as a ministry assistant, and she makes things happen for our church. I haven’t had a lot of time to post yet. I am trying ot catch up on a few things around the office. Here are a few pics from the trip. This is the London portion. I will try and post a few others from the Sierra Leone portion later. I will hopefully have more pictures on the Flickr site. This was by far the most difficult trip I have been on. There are several factors that contributed to that I will talk about later.
What a huge clock and I only heard it ring once.
Westminster Abbey was pretty amazing. I would love to go back and tour the facility. Not enough time on this trip.
Buckingham Palace was pretty neat. We didn’t get to see the changing of the guard, wrong day.
I enjoyed going to Metropolitan Tabernacle. The front columns are all that are left of the original church, it has burned twiced. What we saw was the 1950′s structure and interior.
